Data We Collect
This Site does not require you to create an account or provide personal information. We may automatically collect the following data when you visit the Site:
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution
- Usage data: pages visited, time spent on pages, referral source, date and time of visit
- Domain search queries: the domain names you submit for availability checks are processed in real time against public WHOIS / RDAP registry servers. We do not persist these queries to a database, but the searched domain name and your IP may appear in server-side operational logs (12-month retention).
- Cookies: see the Cookies section below
WHOIS / RDAP Registry Servers
When you submit a domain for availability lookup, our server queries the relevant ICANN-accredited registry's WHOIS or RDAP service directly (for example, Verisign for .com, AFNIC for .fr, etc.). The only data transmitted is the domain name you searched. The response we display to you is sourced from those public registries and may include data the registrant has chosen to publish in the WHOIS record — we do not control the accuracy of registry-published data.
Purpose and Legal Basis
