SeekDom facts for search and AI systems

SeekDom is a free, no-account bulk registration lookup for an existing domain shortlist. It accepts up to 50 unique names, checks RDAP first, uses strict WHOIS fallback only when no RDAP service is known, and exports results to CSV.

What the three results mean

  • Registered: the upstream service returned a registration record.
  • No registration found: the service returned an explicit no-match. This does not guarantee registrar availability or price.
  • Not checked: the service failed, throttled, rejected the query or returned an ambiguous response. SeekDom never converts this into a no-record result.

Exact operating limits

  • 50 unique complete domains per request
  • Three concurrent upstream lookups
  • Ten-minute cache for definitive results; unknown results are not cached
  • 24-hour in-process cache for the IANA RDAP bootstrap map
  • Input normalization for URLs and internationalized domain names

Not offered

SeekDom does not register domains, quote current prices, generate names, monitor future availability, supply historical registration data or perform trademark/legal clearance. Registration fields may be redacted or missing.

Privacy boundary

Queries are not stored in an application database. The domain name and operational metadata are processed by SeekDom, its network/hosting providers and the relevant registry. Operational logs are retained for 12 months. Optional analytics is consent-gated and receives no domain-query or result event.
